BHRC Standard

BHRC standard is a UK standard for HR professionals at different levels of the profession. Based on thorough research and round table discussion among a number of expert HR professionals and educators across the globe, BHRC has established some standards [code and competencies] for HR institutes, their courses and the individual HR professionals for different level.

Compliance Standard

All HR institutes must have the below standards in terms of Compliance issues to be accredited by BHRC:

Operational Standard

All institutes must show the creditability and capacity to operate programs accredited by BHRC. They must comply with a minimum standard of operation regarding Faculties, other facilities, etc.

Standard for HR Course

Curriculum

The curriculum must be updated and comprehensive to cover the particular competency of the respective program.

Faculty

The Faculty must have adequate knowledge, experience & expertise to facilitate sessions accredited by BHRC

Material

The Material should be comprehensive to ensure the best learning regarding the respective areas so that delegates can apply those learning in their workplace.

Learning Tools

The learning tools used for online/ virtual class/class-based sessions must ensure the highest learning for delegates and also should focus on participant engagement

Assessment Tool

All assessment tools should be standard to assess the competency declared for each program

BHRC Competency Framework for HR Professional

Personal Competency indicates the demographic and characteristics of HR professionals. Particularly focusing on the Humanitarian, ethical, integrity, values, etc of a person

Professional Competency indicates the functional competency of HR professionals like the competency required to perform the function of Talent Management, Recruitment, Performance Management, etc. Also, it focuses on the Legal aspect of a particular country/ international law which is connected with employment law.

Leadership Competency indicates the leading capability of a particular person. It also focuses on different leadership styles, Innovation, Change Management, etc.

Entrepreneurial competency indicates the competency that is required to understand and contribute lead any business or its part successfully. For example Financial Expertise, Financial ratio, Business acumen, Business process, Business models, etc
